PGP/MBA admission 2020: Final results of CAP participating IIMs declared

Final admission result of MBA/PGP 2020 batch for IIM Jammu, IIM Raipur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Trichy, IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Kashipur, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Udaipur, IIM Ranchi declared. 

Keeping up with the original schedule of final result announcement, some of the newer IIMs have announced the result of PGP/MBA admission today. Candidates who participated in the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) round of IIMs conducting admission process under Common Admission Process or IIM CAP can check their admission status on the official websites of respective institutes by using their CAT 2019 ID and other registration details.

The IIMs had scheduled declaration of final result of PGP/MBA admission 2020 in the month of May. While the top three IIMs – Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta announced the final shortlist on May 8, rest of the IIMs declared earlier this week.

Among IIM CAP participating Institutes, final results of IIM Jammu, IIM Raipur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Trichy and IIM Bodh Gaya announced on May 22, while IIM Kashipur, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Udaipur and IIM Ranchi announced result on May 23.

The institutes will also send admission offers via email. All selected candidates are required to confirm acceptance of admission offer before the stipulated time to avoid rejection by the institutes.

What is IIM CAP?

IIM CAP is a common admission process conducting WAT-PI round for a group of new IIMs. IIM CAP is common for IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu, IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Trichy and IIM Udaipur. Under this process, common guidelines are followed for selection of candidates for admission. WAT-PI round is called Personal Appearance (PA) for these institutes. For 2020 PGP admission, IIM Ranchi conducted the IIM CAP.
