XAT answer keys are released about a week ahead of the result date. However, in XAT 2018, the answer keys were not issued. Answer keys of XAT 2019 too may not be released next year as the exam has moved to online platform.

The answer keys are released for exams which are conducted offline and the candidates are allowed to take the question paper home. Till 2017, XAT too released the answer keys along with the question paper on the official website. The exam conducting authority, released the XAT 2018 question paper though.

The purpose behind releasing OMR sheets and answer keys, it to allow the candidates to analyse their performance and plan their next course of action viz B-school admission.

Thus, future XAT aspirants can hope to get access to XAT 2019 question paper after the exam has been conducted on January 27, 2019. It may be possible that from XAT 2019 onwards the examination body start releasing the answer keys again.

The XAT 2019 answer keys will be available online on the official website. Here’s how to download the answer keys:

  • Go to XAT 2019 website
  • Click on XAT 2019 answer key/question paper
  • Enter login credentials
  • Download the question paper

Many private MBA entrance exam coaching institutes released XAT 2018 answer keys prepared inhouse by their experts to help the students analyse their performance.

Exam answer key is of great significance to the test takers as it allows them to judge their performance. Also, in case they are not satisfied with the official answer to any question, they can raise an objection against it and get it re-verified. In the absence of the answer keys there are chances that the test taker may not know whether he deserved more marks than he/she actually scored. Unfortunately, for a national level exam like XAT, the practice has stopped.

XAT 2019 is scheduled to be held on January 6, 2019 and XAT 2019 application process is expected to begin in the third week of August 2018. Admit cards for XAT 2019 will be issued in December 2018 and the test takers can expect XAT 2019 result in the last week of January, 2019 followed by XAT 2019 cut off marks.
