GNDU GMET 2025 counselling process for dual specialisation programme and for MBA other specialisations has been conducted. Candidates who will make it to the merit list of GNDU GMET 2025, will be eligible for the counselling process which includes Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The University will make arrangements for the conduct of GMET counselling as per government COVID-19 guidelines. It will be conducted for separate batches of students in the three slots.

Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) conducts counselling of GMET qualifiers for admission to MBA, MBA (Financial Services) and MBA (Marketing and Retail Management) courses. The counselling process is conducted after the declaration of GNDU GMET result.

Required documents for GNDU Counselling Process 2018: Original & Photocopy of 10th & 12th class merit certificate. Community certificate signed by an authorized authority. All medical documents mentioned in the application form. Community certificate (SC/ST/OBC/Other). Domicile Certificate. Identity Proof. 5-7 Passport size colored photographs. Original and photocopy of admit card.

Q:   How many rounds are there in GNDU GMET counselling?

A:

GNDU GMET 2024 will be conducted over three days in multiple slots. The schedule of GNDU GMET 2024 counselling will be announced along with the notification. It is expected that GNDU GMET counselling will be held in July 2024. Candidates will have to report at the alloted centre at the given date and time.

GNDU GMET 2025 Counselling: Registration Process

Before registering for GNDU GMET 2025 counselling, candidates must keep the following documents ready:

Candidates selected for GNDU GMET counselling process must carry the following documents (original and photocopy) for the GD/PI round.

  • Admission fee INR 80,000 (Approximately)
  • Printed admission form
  • Class 10 and 12 marksheets
  • Graduation degree/marksheet
  • Proof of date of birth
  • Two passport size latest photographs
  • Address Proof (Adhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport)
  • GNDU GMET 2024 Admit Card
  • GNDU GMET 2024 Score Card
  • Punjab Residence certificate in the format mentioned in prospectus
  • Reserved category certificate (if applicable)
  • Border area certificate (if applicable)

Q:   What is venue for GNDU GMET counselling?

A:

The GNDU GMET 2024 counselling is conducted at the University campus. The candidates have to be personally present for GD/PI and verification of documents. GNDU GMET 2024 counselling is expected to be held in July 2024. The details for GNDU GMET 2024 counselling will be released tentatively in first week of May 2024.

The University will release a merit list of candidates selected for the counselling round on its official website soon after the declaration of GNDU GMET 2024 result. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear at the university main campus for interview rounds along with the required documents. Candidates must report at the alloted date and time, failing which candidate's request for change in date and time will not be entertained.

In case two or more candidates score equal marks in GNDU GMET 2025, the merit list will be prepared in the following order:

  • The elder candidates will get priority in case of a tie

GNDU GMET Counselling: Important Instruction

  • Candidates appearing in GD/PI need to carry with them original copy of all the documents required
  • All candidates shortlisted for GD/PI have to appear in person. In case of candidate’s absence, their participation will be cancelled.
  • If the number of qualifying candidates is more than the seats available, the University select the candidates on the basis of merit in the GNDU GMET 2025.
  • Candidates selected for admission in GNDU GMET counselling have to deposit the admission fee within two working days

If a candidate is not able to download GNDU GMET Admit Card, candidates are required to immediately contact the admission office of the Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU). The university admission office will help students resolve the issue and provide them with their admit card.
