PU MET syllabus 2025 consists of six broad topics. PU MET 2025 question paper will have multiple choice questions from the topics mentioned below. Q: What are the important topics for PU MET exam?
PU MET question paper is divided into six sections. These sections are: Data Interpretation and Problem Solving, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, English Comprehension, General Knowledge and Economics and Business Awareness. These sections are further divided into the important topics which the question paper will be based on. Some of the topics include:
Data Interpretation and Problem Solving: Table, Bar Graphs, Pie Charts, Caselets, etc.
Numerical Ability: Percentages, Averages, Ratio and Proportion, Numbers and Its Applications, Algebra, Arithmetic, etc.
Reasoning: Syllogisms, Series, Arangements, Puzzles, Blood Relations, etc.
English Comprehension: Vocabulary, Phrases, Para Jumbles, Reading Comprehensions, Synonyms and Antonyms, Idioms, etc.
General knowledge: Current Affairs, Awards and Winnders, Business, Government and Politics, Sports, Science, etc.
Business Awareness and Economics: Global Economy, Indian Economy, Business Trends, etc.
Q: Is the syllabus for PUMET similar to other MBA entrance exams?
The PU MET syllabus is same as other MBA entrance exams, which is Data Interpretation, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude or Numerical Ability, English Comprehension and General Awareness, only their nomenclature is different. So, candidates preparing for PU MET has to study the same subject, topics and sub-topics that they have to study in CAT, MAT or CMAT, etc. Also, the PU MET exam has a unique section, Business Environment, but the difficulty level of this section is usually easy.
In fact, candidates can use the same books for studying for PU MET as well as other MBA entrance exams. In terms of difficulty level of the exam, PU MET is easier in comparison to other MBA entrance exams. The difficulty level of PU MET question paper is usually easy and there is no sectional time limit.

Q: What is the exam pattern for PU MET?
PU-MET exam is conducted in the paper-based test mode. The exam is conducted for 2 hours or 120 minutes. The exam has six sections and 200 questions. Each section has equal number of multiple-choice questions. Each question carries one mark and has four options each. There is no negative markings. The total marks in the PU-CET (PG) exam is 200.
