LUMET syllabus 2025 is prescribed by Lucknow University. It is an entrance exam conducted for admission to MBA/MTTM courses offered by the university. Thus, the syllabus includes topics from Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Comprehension and General Awareness. 

LUMET 2025 is a pen and paper mode test to be held for 90 minutes. The LUMET question paper will have 100 questions in MCQ format. Each question will carry two marks and there is no negative marking. Check below, section-wise topics included in the LUMET syllabus 2025. 

Q:   Which books are recommended to cover LUMET syllabus?

Candidates can study CAT books for Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension to cover LUMET syllabus and practice previous year LUMET question papers for exam specific preparation.

Q:   How much time is required to cover LUMET syllabus?

A:

A fresher can complete LUMET syllabus in three to four months whereas a candidate who has appeared for LUMET or any other MBA entrance exam before can complete the syllabus in lesser time. The syllabus of LUMET is same as other MBA entrance exams, so you will not face any problem in covering it as books are study material are available in abundance.

Q:   Is LUMET syllabus similar to CAT or CMAT syllabus?

A:

Yes, LUMET syllabus similar to CAT or CMAT syllabus. It includes same topics of Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning and Language Comprehension. Candidates can prepare for LUMET with CAT study material. Since, LUMET is much easier that CAT or CMAT, candidates can easily crack it by studying the books for CAT.

LUMET Syllabus: Section wise Weightage

Every section of LUMET carries 25 questions of two marks each. The total marks of the exam is 200. Check below, section wise break up of LUMET:

Q:   What is the difficulty level of LUMET questions?

A:

LUMET questions are of easy to moderate difficulty level. They are very straightforward and not very lengthy or tricky. However, candidates need to keep in mind that they will get about 100 questions from four subjects to solve in 90 minutes. They should have good speed in solving the questions to be able to score high.

Q:   How many questions should I solve in LUMET exam for a good score?

A:

LUMET has 100 questions in total. The time limit is 90 minutes, thus it is not possible to solve all 100 questions. Candidates must aim to solve a minimum of 78-80 questions correctly to get a good score. They should leave out questions which they find tough or are unsure of the correct answer.

A:
