NMAT Exam Pattern 2024: The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) released the NMAT exam pattern. The exam pattern for NMAT 2024 is on similar lines with the previous year's exam structure. No change is has been made to the NMAT 2024 test structure. As per the NMAT test structure, candidates need to answer as many as 108 questions in 120 minutes. All three sections of NMAT, namely, Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning, carry an equal number of questions (36).
The NMAT exam is being conducted within a testing window of 45 days. Candidates can choose a particular day and venue to take the exam at their convenience during the NMAT exam scheduling process. NMAT 2024 will comprise as many as 108 questions from three sections. Each section shall have equal questions and marks weightage. NMAT 2024 Marking Scheme
GMAC will evaluate the performance of NMAT test-takers based on the below-mentioned marking scheme
- Each objective-type question of the NMAT exam carries 3 marks
- There is no negative marking in case of wrong attempts
- Zero marks are deducted for unattempted questions
- Once the candidate ends a particular section, all answers are considered final

NMAT Exam Pattern 2024: Key Highlights
NMAT exam has a unique exam structure with the below-mentioned user-friendly features.
- Three Attempts: Candidates can take the test three times in an admission cycle - one exam and two retakes.
- Slot Booking/Exam Scheduling: Candidates can choose a date, time and location of the exam according to their convenience.
- Choosing the section order Candidates can choose the order of sections of the NMAT question paper while writing the test. For instance, one can opt to attempt the QA section first followed by VA and LR.
- Reviewing: Candidates can review their answers at the end of each section and reattempt if required.
