OJEE 2020 spot counselling for admission to BAMS/BHMS courses is likely to be held in the second week of October 2020. All NEET rank holders will be eligible to participate in the counselling process irrespective of their admission status. In academic session 2019-20, spot counselling for admissions was held on October 14, 2019.
OJEE 2020 counselling is an online as well as offline mode process for final seat allotment. Candidates qualifying the exam can participate in OJEE counselling rounds 2020 on basis of their ranks and schedule. OJEE board releases the final seat allotment after the counselling process.Â
OJEE Counselling Eligibility Criteria 2020
Candidates who wish to participate in the OJEE Counselling 2020 must fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria.
- Candidate must have completed at least 17 years of age
- Candidates who wish to participate in BAMS/BHMS counselling must have qualified in NEET(UG) with a valid rank
- Candidates' parents should be a native of Odisha state. Candidates have to present the Resident/Nativity certificate during document verification
- Candidate must have scored 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the 12th grade for General category candidates. The minimum aggregate for SC/ST is 40%. Also, the candidates must have passed in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects individually

OJEE Counselling Process 2020
Candidates can participate in OJEE 2020 counselling as under:
Step 1: Registration
- Candidates need to visit the official website and complete registration for participating in the counselling rounds.
- For this, they need to mention their course, ranks, marks, documents for educational qualification, category, and family income certificate as well as bank details for fee payment
- For MBA, MCA, MTech/MPlan/MArch and MPharm courses also select the entrance exam qualified i.e. OJEE, GATE, GPAT, NIMCET, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT or ATMA
- Once, all the details are filled, a password will be generated for candidates' accounts and pay Rs. 450 as counselling fee
Step 2: Option locking
- After fee payment, candidates can fill choices from the list of participating colleges for their selected courses and specialisation
- Candidates can add, edit, delete and change the order of preference from the list of colleges
- After this, they can lock their choices by freezing and wait for seat allotment list
Step 3: Announcement of Seat Allotment List
- The counselling cell releases seat allotment list for colleges available based on choice filled by candidates and merit list/rank list
- Candidates can save their seat allotment and visit the counselling centre if they want to secure the seat. If not, then they can skip this round and wait for the next seat allotment list as and when notified by the counselling cell
Step 4: Document Verification
- For confirming their seat at the allotted college/s, candidate should provide documents of eligibility required for the course
- They need to get original documents verified and submit a copy of all the documents at the counselling centre only
- Also, make part admission fee payment which is Rs. 10,000/- for General category and Rs. 5,000/- for SC/ST/PC categories
- After this, candidates are issued final seat allotment letter with college name, course and other relevant information
Step 5: Admission Confirmation
- After document verification, candidates need to report the allotted colleges and submit documents and pay the remaining admission fee
- In case, candidates do not report the allotted colleges within the specified time, then their admission is cancelled and their seat is offered to other candidates in next round
- Also, candidates have a choice to withdraw from admission, in such cases, their admission status will be 'In process' and the part-admission fees paid by them is refundedÂ
- If candidates withdraw from allotted seats, they will be eligible to participate in the next round of seat allotment and they have to exercise the choice locking and document verification process again
OJEE Spot Counselling 2020: Documents and Drafts Required
Candidates must carry the following documents to the counselling centre:
- Registered candidates must carry a demand draft of Rs 5000, drawn in favor of "OJEE 2020" on any Scheduled Bank payable at Bhubaneshwar. Candidates who have been allotted seats, and have paid the fees do not have to carry any drafts
- Candidates who did not register with OJEE earlier but want to be a part of the counselling process have to carry an additional draft of Rs 1000
- Candidates must carry the following certificates (original and photocopy):
- NEET (2020) rank card
- OJEE BAMS/BHMS registration slip
- Class 10th board certificate and mark sheet
- Class 12th passing certificate and mark sheet
- Residence certificate of Odisha (mandatory)
- SC/ST certificate issued by the government of Odisha
- Green card issued by the Family Welfare Department, govt. of Odisha
- Candidates under EWS category have to produce EWS certificate from Tahsildar/ Additional Tahsildar Â
- The list of eligible Ex-serviceman candidates is sent by Rajya Sainik Board to OJEE. Only those candidates will be considered under ES quota
- PC Board report from SCB Medical College, Cuttack is with the JEE Office. Only the candidates, declared eligible by the Board, will be considered under PC quota.
