XAT admit card 2025 was released on December 26, 2024. Candidates could download their XAT 2025 admit card through login. Every candidate's XAT exam 2025 admit card contained candidate's name, photo, roll number, test venue and reporting time. The admit card was available for download till the XAT 2025 exam day, January 5, 2025.

Q:   How and from where to download XAT admit card?

A: 

XAT admit card is released in online mode at the xat online website. Candidates have to download it by using their login ID and password created at the time of form filling. The XAT admit card 2024 will be available for download till the exam day however, candidates must download a copy as soon as it is released. Given below is the process to follow to download the XAT admit card:

  •  Log on to the XAT website
  • Click on the tab indicating XAT admit card
  •  Enter XAT ID and password
  • Click on submit to log in
  • In the student dashboard locate the admit card tab
  •  Click on the tab to open the admit card
  • Download and save it in a folder

After downloading the XAT admit card, check for the details mentioned on it. All the details should be correct and clearly visible. If there is any error, candidates must contact examination cell.

Q:   Can I change my test centre after XAT admit card is released?

A: 

There is no provision to change the test centre after the XAT admit card has been released. You can change your XAT test centre only once at the time of filling up the XAT application form. Once submitted, the XAT application form is not editable. There is no other way a candidate can change the test city option. They will have to appear for the exam in the city and at the test centre mentioned in their XAT admit card. They cannot even seek entry in another test centre for appearing in the exam. Insisting on doing so may get them disqualified.

Thus, candidates must fill the test city options in the XAT application form very carefully or arrange for travel and stay in the city where you have been allotted the exam centre.

If you misplace your XAT admit card, you don’t need to panic. You can download another copy of the same from your XAT account. Q:   Does the XAT admit card have a route map of the exam centre?

A: 

Yes, the XAT admit card has a google map and address of the exam centre for candidates convenience. The candidates must find out the shortest route to the XAT exam centre via the google map a day before the test day because they are expected to be present at their respective test centre at the reporting time mentioned in the XAT admit card.

If the XAT exam timing is 2 pm to 5:10 pm then the reporting time for candidates will be 1:00 PM. Candidates must use the route map to reach their respective test centre on time to avoid delayed entry inside the exam hall for identification process. Candidates reaching the XAT test centre after the gates have been closed will not be allowed to enter the premises under any circumstances. They will have to seek special permission in case of unexpected reasons.

How to Download XAT Exam 2025 Admit Card?

XAT exam admit card has been released online only. Test-takers should take two printouts of their respective XAT admit card 2025. Check below, the steps to download the XAT admit card 2025:

  • Enter details like XAT User ID and date of birth and click on 'login'

Q:   Can I show a photocopy of my XAT admit card at the exam center?

A: 
No, only the original copy (color) printed on the A4 size sheet will be considered a valid Xavier Aptitude Test admit card. Carry two copies of the Xavier Aptitude Test admit card to the exam center along with a photo Identity document and a pen to sign the attendance sheet. The XAT admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the examination hall and must be presented for inspection by the invigilator. Candidates not carrying their admit cards will be barred from writing the test. Students must carry two copies of their XAT exam admit card to the exam hall. One copy of the admit card has to be submitted to the invigilator, and the second copy of the admit card is to be retained by the candidate. Carry a mask, gloves hand sanitizer, and transparent water bottle on the exam day. After taking printouts of the XAT 2023 admit card, attach their recent passport-size photo in color with a white background. The photo must be the same as the one uploaded with the XAT application form. Do not sign the admission card. It has to be signed only in the presence of the invigilator at the exam center. Q:   Which important documents are to be carried with XAT admit card?

A: 

At the examination centre, candidates will have to undergo identification process which will include frisking and examination of documents. Along with the two original copies of the XAT admit card with passport size photo affixed, candidates must carry any one of the following photo IDs:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • E-Aadhaar card
  • Voter ID card
  • Passport
  • ·Driving License
  • University ID card

Candidates must also carry a few copies of their passport size photo (preferably the same as uploaded in the XAT application form). PwD candidates must carry relevant certificates such as PwD affidavit and scribe certificate for appearing in the exam and availing the facilities provided to them.

In case a candidate is not carrying the relevant document, they will not be allowed to enter the examination centre. Candidates should thoroughly read exam related guidelines mentioned on the XAT admit card so that they don’t miss out on anything.

XAT Exam Day Instructions

XAT is conducted at various examination centres across India. The XAT test centres are equipped with computer systems on which candidates have to take the exam. There are certain guidelines that the candidates have to follow for the exam. Check below key XAT exam day instructions.

  • Reach the XAT 2025 exam centre at the reporting time mentioned on the admit card to complete identification process. Present documents at the time of identification and follow the procedure.
  • Once inside the XAT exam hall, locate your computer system and take a seat. Do not start the computer system until asked by the invigilator.
  • If your computer malfunctions, inform the invigilator immediately. Do not wait and waste time. 
  • Read the XAT exam instructions carefully and follow them while solving answers. Any confusion on misperception can affect your score.
  • The XAT admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the examination hall and must be presented for inspection by the invigilator. Digital or photocopy of the admit card will not be accepted.

  • One copy of the XAT admit card 2025 will have to be submitted to the invigilator and the second copy (signed by invigilator) will have to be retained by the candidate.

  • After taking the print outs of the XAT admit card, affix recent passport size photo in colour with preferable white background. The photo must be same as the one uploaded with the XAT application form 2025.

  • DO NOT sign the admit card beforehand. It has to be signed only in the presence of the invigilator, at the exam centre.

  • Candidates are advised to carry a secondary ID proof for identification purpose. Only the original copy of the photo ID will be accepted as valid. Digital or photo copy will not be accepted.

  • Watches and gadgets such as mobile phone, calculator, iPad and items having metal are not allowed inside the test centre premise.

Q:   What are the items not allowed inside XAT exam centre?

A: 

XAT exam is conducted in online mode so you don’t have to carry any stationary item apart from a blue/black ball point pen which is to be used for signing the attendance sheet.

Candidates should not carry to the examination centre, electronic items such as phone, watch, IPad, calculator, pager, etc. They should also not carry any metal items. Clothes and accessories having metal and metal jewellery are also prohibited inside the examination centres. Caps, headgears, sunglasses, clothes with pocket and hoodies are not allowed at the XAT exam centre. Candidates must also not carry bags and any other valuable item as candidates will not be allowed to carry anything inside the exam centre apart from a pen and documents. There will be no arrangement for depositing the bag at the exam centre.
