Not Carrying Admit Card or Valid Photo Id

Candidates headed towards the allotted centre on the exam day are likely to forget some mandatory documents back home. These include the admit card and a valid photo ID. In case a candidate doesn’t carry either of them, they will not be allowed entry to the AIIMS PG 2020 exam centre. Here is a list of things that are mandatory to bring to the exam centre:

  • AIIMS PG 2020 admit card printed on an A4 sheet after downloading it from the official website
  • Any valid ID proof issued by the Government of India such as PAN card, Driving License/Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar card, Ration card
  • Physically handicap candidates are required to carry the People with Disability (PwD) certificate issued by the authority

Not Following the Instructions

AIIMS PG 2020 exam instructions are printed on the backside of the admit card or at the bottom of the front page by the conducting authority mentioning each and everything a candidate should follow during the examination. Follow these instructions to have a trouble-free exam.

Leave Your Belongings at Home

To ensure that the AIIMS PG 2020 exam is conducted seamlessly without students following any wrong means, AIIMS does not provide any facility to keep candidates’ belongings at the centre. Belongings such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, electronic devices, ornaments and any type of paper having textual content are strictly prohibited. Candidates can refer to the list of things that are strictly prohibited at AIIMS PG 2020 exam centre:

  • Any stationery material such as paper with text, geometry box, plastic/cloth pouch, calculator, scale, pen/pencil, log tables, writing pad, and pen drives
  • Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatch, earphones, fitness band, microphone and camera
  • Ornaments and wearable accessories such as earrings, hairbands, nail polish, cap, scarf, muffler, necklace, ring, bangles, wallet, goggles, belt or any kind of jewellery or accessories
  • Items or articles pertaining to be a medium of unfair means

Not Abiding by Time

Candidates cannot be lenient about time on the exam day. In fact, every candidate must reach the centre at least half an hour before the exam begins. This would allow them to seamlessly enter and be seated in their respective place.

Timings for AIIMS PG 2020 exam are 9 am-12 noon. So, it is advisable for candidates to reach the centre at about 8.30 am to avoid any hassle.

Not Registering Attendance

After reaching the centre on time and getting to the allotted seat, candidates should ensure that they register their attendance at the examination hall by signing the attendance sheet. Every candidate, after submitting the answer sheet, must mark their attendance. If they fail to do so, they will be subjected to disqualification from the exam.
