CBSE Board exams 2020: Rap song for stressed students, CBSE urges parents to check school affiliation

The 'CBSE Exam Anthem' which takes inspiration from a Hindi rap song induces the core message which CBSE has been spreading out through several channels - to work hard and not stress about the exams.

The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE has become the first education board in the country to introduce a rap song. The 'CBSE Exam Anthem' is complete in-house creativity of the board. The rap song is supposed to encourage students to do well in exams. The 'CBSE Exam Anthem' which takes inspiration from a Hindi rap song induces the core message which CBSE has been spreading out through several channels - to work hard and not stress about the exams.

In the rap song, the catch phrase which is also the title of the original track 'Machayenge' has been substituted with 'Padhenge'. The song can be accessed on YouTube. The song can also be checked on other social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter etc. So far, the song has got positive words from listeners and students alike.

Apart from this, CBSE has urged the parents to check the affiliation of a school before getting their kids admitted to a school. The board had found that some of the non-affiliated schools are distorting facts by showing several display boards at schools, eminent locations and on websites.  

In North-east Delhi, 98.2 per cent turnout in CBSE 10, 12 board exams

Overall 98.2 per cent students took their Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 10, 12 examinations in the north-east part of Delhi that was recommenced from Monday, March 2. According to the board release, there were 2888 candidates registered for class 10 and 12 examinations in the north-east part of Delhi. Out of this, 2,837 candidates were found present while 51 were absent. The class 12 students took physics and applied physics exams while the class 10 students took music paper.
