CBSE Board Exam 2024: Amid the ongoing Farmers Protest 2024, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an important advisory for students prepping to appear for the Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2024. CBSE Board Exam 2024 Class 10, 12 are slated to commence from tomorrow, i.e. February 15.
Leave Early for CBSE Exam Centre 2024
Sighting the current chaotic situation and traffic jams on roads in Delhi NCR due to farmers' march, the Board has asked students, parents as well as examiners to leave their homes at the earliest to avoid hassles on the roads.
An official notice (in Hindi) shared by the social media handle of the Board, stated,“The board exams for class 10th and 12th will start from tomorrow i.e. 15th February 2024. This year, more than 39 lakh students from 26 countries in India and abroad will appear for the exam. 5,80,192 students will appear for the board exams from 877 examination centers in Delhi.”
It added, “Since the examination starts at 10.30 am, all students are instructed to reach their examination centers on or before 10.00 am. Due to the prevailing situation in Delhi, it is expected that there will be traffic-related issues which may cause delays in reaching the examination centre. Therefore, all students are advised to leave their homes early so that they can reach on time as per the instructions issued by CBSE.”
No student allowed after 10 am
“It is advisable to use metro services to reach the examination centres, which is running smoothly. All CBSE students all over India and other countries are also requested to reach the examination center on or before 10.00 am (IST) keeping in mind the local conditions, traffic, weather conditions, distance etc. Plan a trip. Only those students will be allowed entry who enter the examination center by 10.00 am. After this no student will be allowed.”
Use Metro Services
“All schools are requested to help and guide the parents and students. Students are once again advised to visit their examination center well in advance and plan their journey so that they can reach before or on time on all examination days.”
