Joshimath crisis: Students appearing for CBSE, UBSE Board Exams 2023 allowed to select exam centres

As not much time is left for UBSE Board Exams 2023 and CBSE Board Exams to begin, displaced families in Joshimath raised concerns about the future of their children's academic careers amid Joshimath crisis.

UBSE 10, 12 Board Exams 2023: Amid Joshimath crisis, Uttarakhand education minister Dhan Singh Rawat has allowed the affected Uttarakhand Board and CBSE students appearing for UBSE 10^th, 12^th board exams and CBSE Board Exams 2023 to select the examination centre of their choice according to their convenience. According to the UBSE time table 2023 released earlier this month, UK Board class 10 board exam 2023 will be held between March 17 and April 6, 2023 while UK Board 12th exams 2023 will begin from March 16 and go on till April 6, 2023. While CBSE Class 10, 12 practical exams 2023 are undergoing, CBSE theory exams for 10th, 12th will begin from February 15

Students appearing for UBSE, CBSE Board Exams 2023 allowed to choose exam centre

“To make sure that the affected students do not face any problem in appearing for the board exams, it has been decided to provide them option to choose the examination centre in any city as per their convenience. For this, the officials of the district administration and the education department have been asked to prepare a list and provide the details of the affected students to the concerned board officials soon,” Uttarakhand Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said, quoted by the news agency IANS.

Stating that most of the students in disaster affected areas are studying in schools under the Uttarakhand board and CBSE board, Rawat released directions for the regional officer of the CBSE and the secretary of the Uttarakhand board to allot examination centres to the affected students as per their convenience.

Uttarakhand Board UBSE 10, 12 Date Sheet 2023

The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has announced the class 10, 12 board exam dates 2023. Students can download the Uttarakhand UBSE 10, 12 datesheet 2023 at - ubse.uk.gov.in.

According to the UBSE time table 2023, the class 10 board exam will be held between March 17 and April 6, 2023 while UK Board 12th exams will begin from March 16 and go on till April 6, 2023. The UBSE 10, 12 board exams will be conducted in a single shift. The UK Board exams will begin at 10 am and get over at 1 pm.  The students have to reach the exam centre by 9:30 am and the invigilators will start distributing the UBSE question papers at 9:45 am.
