IIM Kozhikode welcomes over 600 students under PGPs, 45% female candidates
A total of 12 international students have joined the institute through GMAT and CAT, it includes five NRIs. The students are from Nepal, USA, UK, UAE, Oman and Germany. All international students are part of the flagship PGP programme. This is the first time IIM-K has inducted international students.
IIM Kozhikode Admissions 2023: The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) has kick-started the academic session 2023-24 welcoming 601 students under its flagship Post Graduate Programme (PGP), PGP-Liberal Studies and Management (PGP-LSM), PGP-Finance (PGP-F) and Doctoral Programme in Management (PhD). According to the official statement, the programme has welcomed students from diverse backgrounds. Out of the 601 students, there are 45 per cent women candidates. Amongst the programmes, PGP-LSM has the highest number of female candidates with 52 per cent followed by PGP with 48 per cent female candidates and PhD with 47 per cent women candidates.

This year, there are 58 per cent students from non-engineering backgrounds including Science, Humanities, Arts, Commerce, Medical (MBBS) and Chartered Accountants. Around 67 per cent of the batch has prior work experience. There are 45 students from Kerala. Out of 601 students, 483 are a part of PGP, 52 students have taken admission in PGP-LSM, 49 students have joined PGP-F, 17 students have joined DPM (PhD).
