CBSE Class 12 English exam Term 2: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has sucessfully conducted the CBSE Class 12 English exam today, May 13. The CBSE 12th English Core and Elective exam was conducted at various centres across the nation. As per the initial reviews, the Class 12 exam was easy for some, while some termed it as moderate. Students came out of the hall happy. Experts have also said that the exam was pretty easy and scoring.

The Class 12 English Term 2 question paper was in line with the sample papers issued by the board earlier. The exam concluded at 12:30 pm. As per the English Core sample paper, the question paper had three sections -- Reading, Writing and Literature. The English Core paper was held for a total of 40 marks. The CBSE Class 12 English Elective question paper had five sections. Attempting all the sections in CBSE term 2 English Elective paper were compulsory.

Section C -- Applied Grammar contained 5 marks

Section D - Literature was for 11 marks
