IGNOU Admissions 2021: Last date to register for ODL & Online UG, PG programme today

Candidates interested in IGNOU Admissions 2021 must note that the extension of the application deadline is not applicable to semester-based courses.

IGNOU Admissions 2021: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has again extended the application deadline of fresh admission for the July 2021 session for ODL and online undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes. Students interested in IGNOU Admissions 2021 must note that the extension of the application deadline is not applicable to semester-based courses. Applicants can now send their applications until today, December 31 through the online admission portal for ODL programmes — ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Candidates can access the details about the offered programme at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/index.php/site/programmes. Earlier, the university extended the deadline until December 12. IGNOU has extended the application deadline many times this year. The candidates should note that the last date extension does not apply to the certificate, diploma/postgraduate diploma of the university as the admission to these programmes are already closed.

In order to apply for the course of choice, fresh applicants are required to create a new registration and submit all the details on the admission portal. The university offers programmes in various disciplines at master’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, PG diploma and diploma, PG certificate and certificate programmes, and appreciation/awareness levels.

How to register for IGNOU Online Admission 2021?

Interested candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for admission at IGNOU.

• Go to the official website -- ignou.samarth.edu.in or ignou.ac.in
• On the registration portals, enter the registration number and password, if already registered
• Non-registered candidates are required to register using the credentials asked on the portal
• Upon successful registration, IGNOU 2021 form will appear on the screen
• Fill the application form with the required info
• Upload all the required documents
• Verify the details and submit the form
• Deposit the requisite amount of application fee through the prescribed gateways (Credit Card (Master/Visa), Debit Card (Master/Visa/Rupay), Net Banking or UPI)
• Download and take a printout of the application form
