CUET UG 2022 fourth phase exam started on August 17 amid technical glitches. This resulted in the cancellation of the exam in 13 centres across India. Know the details here.
The CUET UG 2022 Phase 4 exam commenced on August 17 in 455 Centres in 245 Cities across India. On the first day of the fourth phase, 1,45,885 candidates were scheduled to take the exam across two slots. Due to technical glitches, the exam was cancelled in 13 centres across India and as many as 8,693 candidates were affected by this. These candidates will be accommodated on CUET UG 2022 exam dated August 25.
NTA said, โThose candidates, whose todayโs examination was cancelled would be informed regarding their new date tomorrow. It is proposed to hold these examinations on 25 August 2022.โ They may be issued fresh admit cards, which NTA would notify them in due course of time.

Majority of the centres where the exam was cancelled were located in Delhi NCR followed by Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The following table brings the list of centres, shifts and number of affected candidates.

Uttar Pradesh had Maximum Candidates
According to NTA, Uttar Pradesh had the highest number of candidates, 44,033 in both shifts. Delhi recorded the second highest number of candidates, 25,131 candidates and 134 and 29 Centres respectively. Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu, Goa, Leh, Ladakh, Manipur, Mizoram, Puducherry and Tripura had one Centre each.
