Considering that CBSE has commenced the term-1 board exams from mid-November, the decision has been taken for its smooth conduct.

Delhi Directorate of Education has directed all the TGTs, PGTs & IT assistants/DEOs deployed for the COVID-19 duties to report back for invigilation duties of CBSE Term-1 Exams. The latest tweet posted by ANI reads, β€œIn view of CBSE Board exams of classes 10 & 12 from Nov 16 & Mid Term exams of classes 9 & 11 to be started from Dec 1, the services of TGTs, PGTs & IT assistants/DEOs deployed for the #COVID19 duties are required immediately for exam invigilation duty: Director (Education), Delhi”

Himanshu Gupta, Director (Education), Delhi has further asked all the Zonal DDEs, district DDEs and HOSs to deploy concerned teachers of classes 9 to 12 and all IT Assistants/DEOs back to exam duties. ANI tweet reads, β€œAll DDEs District, Zonal DDEs and HOSs should direct the concerned teachers of classes 9 to 12 and all IT Assistants/DEOs to report back immediately so that all the conduct of Board examination may commence smoothly: Himanshu Gupta, Director (Education), Delhi”

Central Board of Secondary Education commenced the CBSE 10th and 12th term 1 exams on November 16, 2021. Meanwhile, Supreme Court has scrapped students' plea demanding the conduct of board exams in hybrid mode. The conduct of CBSE Term-1 board exams via offline mode received a backlash from students fearing COVID-19 infection. The petition has been disposed of by the Supreme Court Bench of Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice CT Ravikumar.
