AEEE 2024 Phase 2 Exam Date Clashes with Lok Sabha Elections; Will Dates be Rescheduled?
The second phase of the AEEE exam is slated to take place from May 2nd to May 12th and will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode across the country. However, it has come to notice that the exam dates are coinciding with the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. More information on this can be found in the report below.
AEEE phase 2 exam date coincides with the Lok Sabha Election dates. With phase 3 of the Lok Sabha Elections slated for May 7 and the AEEE phase 2 scheduled from May 2 to 12, concerns arise regarding the potential clash for candidates.
Phase 3 of the Lok Sabha Elections encompasses several states, including Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Dadar & Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu, and Jammu and Kashmir. This geographic spread poses logistical challenges for candidates who might find themselves in areas hosting both the election and the examination simultaneously.
Despite the looming overlap, Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham has yet to announce any alteration to the AEEE phase 2 dates. However, considering the national scale of AEEE with examination centres in 149 cities across the country, the university might deliberate on rescheduling. Notably, the university has confirmed that no decision has been made in this regard.
As the institution continues to accept AEEE application forms for phase 2 exams until April 20, 2024, prospective candidates and their parents remain vigilant for any updates or announcements. Moreover, for those considering alternative pathways, the last date to apply for Amrita BTech admission 2024 with JEE Main scores is June 9. The online application process for BTech admission is accessible on the official Amrita website, amrita.edu.
AEEE phase 2 slot booking for 2024 will commence in the last week of April, tentatively. This crucial step allows candidates to select their preferred exam date and time to appear for the AEEE CBT exam.
Candidates who have participated in phase 1 of the AEEE exam, conducted from January 16th to 22nd and are also to participate in phase 2 exams, are reminded that their best score among both phases will be considered for admission.
As the situation unfolds, candidates, parents, and stakeholders await further updates from Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham, hoping for a resolution that facilitates the smooth conduct of the AEEE phase 2 examinations without hindrance from concurrent events such as the Lok Sabha Elections.
