It's important to note that admission to Amrita University's B.Tech program for 2024 will be based on the best scores attained by candidates from either phase 1 or phase 2 exams, for those who opt to sit for both phases. Candidates who appeared for Phase 1 of the AEEE 2024 examination also have the option to take the Phase 2 examination by paying an additional fee of INR 600. First-time registrants are required to pay INR 1200.

Amrita BTech Admission 2024 via AEEE and JEE Main Scores

Candidates who have passed or are appearing for their 10+2 exams in 2024 are eligible to apply for the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) 2024. Admission to the BTech programs offered at Amrita School of Engineering is determined by the ranks obtained in both JEE Main and AEEE exams. 70% of the available seats are allocated based on AEEE scores, while the remaining 30% are filled according to JEE Main ranks. Applicants have the flexibility to choose to apply through either AEEE or JEE Mains 2024 individually, or they can opt for both.

Candidates applying for admission through both AEEE and JEE Main 2024 scores are required to pay an application fee of INR 1200, whereas those applying solely through JEE Main scores need to pay INR 500.

The submission of academic profiles, document uploads, and JEE Mains scores can be completed after the publication of the results. It's not mandatory to provide this information at the time of filling out the AEEE 2024 application form.

The AEEE exam is conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across 149 cities, including exam centres in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Dubai, UAE. Admission to BTech courses at Amrita University campuses in Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, and Nagercoil (newly added in 2024) is facilitated through AEEE. Candidates must participate in the Amrita BTech Centralized Seat Allotment Process (CSAP) during counselling for admission to their preferred Amrita campus and the courses offered there.
