No applications for the GATE 2024 exam will be accepted without the registration fee of INR 1,800. GATE 2024 registration fee for female students and candidates belonging from SC, ST and PwD categories is INR 900. The IISc Bangalore will conduct the GATE 2024 exam on February 3, 4, 10 and 11 in 2024.

GATE 2024 Registration: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bangalore) is scheduled to end the regular application process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 on September 29. Engineering aspirants willing to register for the GATE exam 2024 without paying the late fee may fill and submit their forms on the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

No applications for the GATE 2024 exam will be accepted without the registration fee of INR 1,800. GATE 2024 registration fee for female students and candidates belonging from SC, ST and PwD categories is INR 900. The IISc Bangalore will conduct the GATE 2024 exam on February 3, 4, 10 and 11 in 2024.

GATE 2024 extended registration date

Post-September 29, candidates will be able to register for GATE 2024 until October 13 with payment of a late fee till October 13. Candidates will have to pay an additional INR 500 as late fee while applying for the GATE 2024 from September 30 onwards.

How to register for GATE 2024 Exam?

Candidates willing to appear for GATE 2024 exam may follow the below-mentioned steps to register for the exam.

  • Go to the official website - gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
  • Click on GATE 2024 registration link.
  • Fill out the GATE 2024 online application form.
  • Upload the required documents and pictures.
  • Pay the application fee.
  • Print the confirmation page.

GATE 2023 application form: Important documents required

The documents needed to fill the GATE 2023 application form include:

  • High-quality image of a candidate's photograph conforming to the specified requirements (File size should be between 2KB and 200KB)
  • Good quality image of the candidate's signature conforming to the specified requirements (File size should be between 2KB and 150KB)
  • Details of the valid Identity Document (ID) (The same ID, in original, should be carried to the examination hall).
  • Valid Identity Documents are Passport/ PAN card/ Voter ID/ Aadhaar-UID/ College ID/ Employee ID/ Driving License
  • Scanned copy of Degree Certificate or Provisional Certificate or Certificate from the Head of the Department/ Institute (format specified in Appendix A of the Information Brochure) (File size should be between 10KB and 300KB)
  • Scanned copy of Category (SC/ST) certificate (if applicable) in pdf format (File size should be between 10KB and 300KB)
  • Scanned copy of PwD Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format (File size should be between 10KB and 300KB)
  • Scanned copy of Dyslexic Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format (File size should be between 10KB and 300KB), net-banking/debit card/credit card details for fee payment.
