GATE 2025 Application Form Released: Check registration link and Steps to apply
IIT Roorkee released the GATE 2025 application form on its official website- gate2025.iitr.ac.in on August 28, 2024. Candidates willing to get admission to M.Tech or PhD programs in IITs, NIITs, and IIITs can check the GATE application fee, process, and eligibility details.
GATE 2025 application form is now available at goaps.iitr.ac.in/login. The mode of the application form is online. The last dates to apply without late fees are September 26, 2024, and October 7, 2024, with late fees. This year, IIT Roorkee is conducting the GATE exam on the following dates - February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, across the country.

The GATE application form link has been activated on the official website. Eligible candidates must click on the application link and register by entering their personal, academic, and communication details before the due date.
Important Documents Required During GATE 2025 Registration
Candidates must check the internet connectivity to avoid any glitches. Also, to avoid last-minute hassle, they must have the following documents ready while filling out the GATE online registration form 2025.
- Recent passport-size photograph as per specifications
- Signature as per specifications
- Scanned copy of category certificate in PDF format
- Scanned copy of the PwD certificate in PDF format
- A scanned copy of a valid photo identity card, such as an Aadhar/PAN/Voter ID card
- The photo ID card must have the name, date of birth, and unique photo ID number. It must be carried to the examination hall.

GATE is a national-level entrance examination conducted in English. Candidates will have the opportunity to appear for either one or two papers. The exam will be conducted across the country on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.

IIT Roorkee has REVISED the GATE 2025 application form dates. As per the revised schedule, GATE 2025 registrations had started on 28 August, 2024. The last date for GATE 2025 registration have been extended to October 3, 2024 (without late fees). Earlier, candidates had to submit the application form by 26 September 2024, with regular fees. Candidates will be able to submit the GATE 2025 application form with late fees until October 11, 2024 (extended).

To enroll for the GATE exam, candidates have to pay a requisite fee of INR 900 (for female/SC/ST/PWD candidates) and INR 1800 (for other candidates) during the regular period. A late fee of INR 500 is charged for candidates applying after October 3, 2024.
