GATE 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee is closing the late fee registration window of GATE 2025 today: October 7, 2024. Candidates who are yet to complete GATE registration 2025 can fill up the form online at the official website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in. They can fill up the GATE 2025 registration form till 11:59 pm. The late application fee for SC, ST, PwD and female candidates is INR 1,400 whereas all others must pay INR 2,300.

As per the announced date, the last date to change category, paper, exam city, add a new paper, or update personal details in the GATE 2025 online form is November 6, 2024, with an additional fee for every change. GATE is scheduled to be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, in two shifts for 30 papers. Candidates can appear for a maximum of two GATE 2025 test papers from the available combinations.

How to fill GATE 2025 Application Form?

To fill up the GATE form candidates have to visit the official website. Since, this is the extended window, they also need to pay GATE application late fee to submit the form online. They can check the steps provided below to know how to fill up the GATE 2024 application:

Step 1: Visit the official website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on APPLY NOW tab

Step 3: Now, fill in all the asked details to complete registration

Step 4: Now, login with Enrollment Id / Email Address and Password

Step 5: Fill up the personal details, papers, address, exam centre and qualification

Step 6: Upload the scanned images and pay the specified fee

Step 7: Submit the form and take a printout of it for future references

How to check GATE 2025 Application Form Status?

The GATE status can be checked at the GOAPS portal. Candidates who have submitted the GATE 2025 application form can check the status. To do so, they have to login with their enrollment ID and password. If the GATE application form is under scrutiny, they must go through the details make necessary changes and submit it within the prescribed date.

Candidates can make the GATE fee payment vis net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI. However, additional online transaction charges may be applicable and will be reflected on the payment portal. 

Q:   Can I change the subject after the submission of the GATE application form?

A:

Yes, Candidates will be given a correction window to change/ modify the already filled details in GATE application form. 

Candidates can change the subjects for an additional fee during the correction window. They can add or change the second paper only once. Candidates will not be able edit any detail after the correction window is closed.
