IIT Delhi Partners with R Systems International Ltd. to Establish Applied AI Centre for Sustainable Systems

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has established a partnership with R Systems International Limited, part of the Blackstone portfolio and a frontrunner in digital product engineering and technological solutions, through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen its focus on artificial intelligence (AI). As part of this alliance, R Systems will establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) for Applied AI for Sustainable Systems at IIT Delhi. 

This centre will feature a state-of-the-art research laboratory, introduce a faculty chair position, and launch merit-based scholarships for students. This collaboration is a testament to R Systems' strategic commitment to driving innovation, advancing contemporary skills, and fostering the

The output from this Center of Excellence (CoE) is anticipated to support the research and development strengths of both R Systems and IIT Delhi. Underlining the importance of this partnership, Prof. Rangan Banerjee, Director of IIT Delhi, stressed the vital importance of emerging technologies in shaping future research directed towards achieving sustainability.

This strategic investment and partnership mark a significant milestone that will push the boundaries in advanced research and innovation in the field of AI. The R Systems CoE will serve as an R&D hub, bringing together R System researchers with faculty members and students to address at-scale real-world problems.
