IIT Delhi, University of Queensland to offer Joint PhD program
IIT Delhi and the University of Queensland (UQ) have collaborated to offer a joint PhD program. UQ-IITD Academy of Research seeking applications from exceptional candidates with backgrounds in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, humanities and social sciences, for projects commencing in July 2023.
Indian Institutes of Technology Delhi (IITD) and the University of Queensland (UQ) have joined forces to create a joint PhD program that will support PhD scholars to deliver global impact. UQ-IITD Academy of Research seeking applications from exceptional candidates with backgrounds in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, humanities and social sciences, for projects commencing in July 2023.
Interested applicants are encouraged to register for a webinar from 10.30 am-12.30 pm (IST)/ 3.00- 5.00 pm (AEST) on February 24 and March 03 to find out more about the program and application process. All applicants must complete an online Expression of Interest (EOI) latest by March 15, 2023.
Through the joint program, you can receive a scholarship to study at two world-leading, research-intensive institutions on multidisciplinary projects, says the official notification.
The benefits of this joint program will be-

- Global expertise via dual supervision between UQ and IITD as well as possible industry input.
- A generous scholarship and additional project development award support.
- Upon successful completion of the program, the students will be offered a jointly awarded Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from both UQ and IITD.
