The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) has launched "SATHEE CUET," an online platform devised to support students preparing for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, SATHEE furthers IIT Kanpur's mission of providing free, high-quality educational resources for competitive exams. Equipped with advanced tools and comprehensive learning support, SATHEE CUET aims to be a game-changer for students nationwide, shaping the future of aspiring candidates.

About IIT Kanpur's SATHEE CUET

SATHEE CUET offers a comprehensive suite of educational resources to support students in their exam preparation. The platform features recorded lectures from distinguished faculty, interactive live sessions with subject experts, and a vast library of practice questions. It also employs AI-driven analytics to track student progress and pinpoint areas for improvement. Additionally, SATHEE CUET provides a complete test series, allowing students to evaluate their performance against national benchmarks. The platform is accessible via the official website at cuet.iitk.ac.in or through the SATHEE app, available on the App Store and Google Play.

On the launch of SATHEE CUET, Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Director of IIT Kanpur, said, "The introduction of SATHEE CUET is a testament to our ongoing efforts to make quality education accessible to every student. By providing specialized resources for CUET preparation, we aim to empower students with the tools they need to achieve excellence in competitive exams and succeed in their chosen fields."

Prof. Amey Karkare, Principal Investigator of the SATHEE project, added, "SATHEE CUET has been meticulously designed to cater to the unique needs of CUET aspirants. Our goal is to offer a platform that not only prepares students for the exams but also fosters a deeper understanding of their chosen subjects, helping them excel in their higher education journey."

Shri Govind Jaiswal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Education, stated, “SATHEE CUET will provide students with equitable access to high-quality, structured learning resources, empowering them to prepare confidently for their exams. The SATHEE platform upholds our commitment to inclusive education and aligns with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 to make academic excellence accessible to all.”

Q:   Can I get admission in IIT Kanpur in BTech if my rank is between 0 and 5000?

A:

The cut off rank in Round 6 for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering is 238 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in IIT Kanpur - Indian Institute of Technology.

Q:   Does IIT Kanpur conduct any interview round for MTech admission?

A:

No, there is no interview round for M.Tech admission at IIT Kanpur. Admission offers for GATE-qualified candidates are displayed on the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP). Students must register at the COAP portal to view and accept their offers. Registration on COAP portal is free. Additionally, candidates are advised to download COAP 2022 information brochure. COAP Registration number is mandatory to apply for M.Tech at IIT Kanpur admission portal. Candidates who have not qualified GATE are communicated directly by the department via e-mail.

Q:   What is Qualifying marks for JEE Mains 2024?

A:

Qualifying marks for JEE Mains 2024 also, called qualifying percentile for JEE Mains 2024 will be announced by the NTA along with the session 2 result. Candidates must note that qualifying percentile for JEE Mains 2024 is the minimum percentile required to appear in JEE Advanced 2024. For admission to NIT or IIITs, there is no provision of qualifying marks in JEE Mains 2024 and admission is given based on All India Rank in JEE Mains exam. NTA will announce JEE Mains 2024 All India rank in April after session 2 exam results.
