IIT Kharagpur Invites Applications For 2-Year Master's in Public Policy, Law & Governance; Apply Now
The Centre of Excellence in Public Policy, Law & Governance at IIT Kharagpur is offering a full-time, 2-year Master's program in Public Policy, Law, and Governance. Candidates can apply online for IIT KGP MPPLG at the official website.
IIT Kharagpur Admission 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur is accepting applications for its two-year Master’s Programme in Public Policy, Law, and Governance (MPPLG). Interested candidates can apply through the official website at gateoffice.iitkgp.ac.in. The last date to complete the IIT Kharagpur MPPLG application form is January 31, 2025.
The IIT Kharagpur MPPLG application process requires candidates to submit their name, email ID, and mobile number via the institute’s application portal. The exam fee for the MPPGL program is INR 3,000 for General category candidates, and INR 1,500 for SC, ST, PwD, female, and third-gender. As per the schedule, the all-India written exam for admission to the IIT Kharagpur MPPLG program will be held on March 16, 2025.
Who are eligible for IIT Kharagpur 2-Year Master's in Public Policy, Law & Governance?
Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Medicine, Law, Arts, or Commerce, with a minimum duration of four years. General, OBC, and EWS candidates must have secured at least 65% marks or a 7 CGPA in the qualifying exam, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates require at least 60% marks or a 6.5 CGPA. All applicants must have attained first-class marks in all previous degrees or exams.
The age limit for eligibility is 30 years for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, and 35 years for SC, ST, and PwD candidates, as of January 1, 2025. However, candidates with relevant work experience are eligible for a relaxation of up to 3 years. Preference will be given to female candidates and those with prior work experience.
