JEE Advanced Registration 2024: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras has postponed the JEE Advanced 2024 registration window for foreign nationals. The JEE Advanced application form for foreign nationals was to start today, April 15. However, the registration now stands postponed and will now start on April 17. The last date to apply for JEE Advanced 2024 is May 7, 2024, for both foreign and Indian nationals. Whereas, the JEE Advanced registration fees can be paid till May 10 by all the candidates.
Only those who are not citizens of India (by birth or naturalised) (but not Overseas Citizens of India / Persons of Indian Origin (OCI/PIO) and have secured OCI/PIO card on or after 04.03.2021) will be eligible to complete JEE Advanced registration for foreign nationals. Earlier, IIT Madras revised the registration date of JEE Advanced for Indian nationals. Now, they can fill up the JEE Advanced 2024 application form starting from April 27. Those meeting the eligibility requirements can complete JEE Advanced 2024 registration at the official website: jeeadv.ac.in.
How to fill JEE Advanced 2024 Application Form for Foreign Nationals?
The JEE Advanced 2024 application process includes logging in using the JEE Main application number and password, filling out the application form, uploading scanned documents and payment of fees. Those meeting the eligibility criteria can go through the steps to know how to apply for JEE Advanced:
Step 1: Go to the official website: jeeadv.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, JEE (Advanced) 2024 Registration for Foreign Nationals
Step 3: On the new page, login with JEE Main 2024 application number and password
Step 4: Fill up the form, enter the preferred exam centre, upload the documents and pay the JEE Advanced registration fees
Step 5: Submit the form and take a printout of it for future references
JEE Advanced Eligibility for Foreign Nationals
- Foreign nationals are not required to write JEE Main 2024 and may register for JEE Advanced 2024 directly subject to the fulfilment of other eligibility criteria
- Those who are not citizens of India (by birth or naturalized) (but not Overseas Citizens of India / Persons of Indian Origin (OCI/PIO) and have obtained OCI/PIO card on or after 04.03.2021) will be eligible
- They should have been born on or after October 1, 1999. In countries where a minimum term in the armed forces (or allied) for a certain period is mandatory before/after class XII (or equivalent) exam, they will be given a relaxation of the required number of years
- All foreign national candidates will be considered in addition to, and not as a part of the 2,50,000 Indian national candidates who qualify for appearing in JEE Advanced 2024
- All the seats allotted to the foreign national will be supernumerary with a cap of 10% of the total number of seats in every course. There are no separate supernumerary seats or sub-category for females in the foreign national supernumerary seats
