KV to be built on 10 acres of land, entire cost to be borne by IIT Bhubaneswar
Spreading over 10 acres of land, the proposed KV’s permanent campus will be built on the IIT campus at Argul in Khurda district. The entire cost of running the KV will be borne by the IIT. The establishment of the school will increase opportunities of employment and education for the residents of Jatni along with the wards of IIT employees.
Considering that the school has planned to commence academic activities from the current academic session itself, The education minister will also inaugurate the temporary building of the proposed Kendriya Vidyalaya on June 11, 2022. As the school will start classes from this year, they need a temporary building for this purpose, according to the sources. For starters, the school will commence the teaching and learning process for primary classes only. However, with the completion of the construction work of the permanent building of the Kendriya Vidyalaya and the availability of required infrastructure, the school will increase its academic facilities.
