NIRF Ranking 2024: The Ministry of Education has announced the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 today. In its ninth edition, as per the NIRF ranking 2024, in the innovation category, IIT Bombay has secured the top spot followed by IIT Madras. There are IITs, IISc and NIT institutions for innovation.

The NIRF Ranking 2024 Innovation category will inspire and nurture young students to generate new ideas, with a strong emphasis on quality and the refinement of these ideas into innovative solutions, challenges, and activities.

NIRF Ranking 2024 Parameters

The NIRF Ranking framework assesses institutions based on five key parameters: teaching, learning, and resources; research and professional practice; graduation outcomes; outreach and inclusivity; and overall perception. Teaching, learning, and resources, along with research and professional practice, each carry a weightage of 30 per cent. Graduation outcomes contribute 20 per cent, while outreach, inclusion, and perception together make up the remaining 10 per cent of the overall weightage.

A:

During the IIT Bombay BTech cutoff 2024, the last round closing rank ranged between 68 and 4718 for the students belonging to the General AI category. So, yes, candidates who have secured a rank under 500 are eligible to get admission at IIT Bombay. However, the cutoff ranks vary depening on the course you want and on which category you belongs to. To get an idea of what courses are available up to the JEE Advanced 500 rank, please refer to the table below. Q: ย  Can I get admission to IIT Bombay in BTech if my rank is between 1 and 5000?

The cut off rank in Round 6 for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering is 67 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology. 

Q: ย  Can I get admission to IIT Madras with a low JEE rank?
