IIT Delhi is hosting its annual international career festival, 'Pravritti 2024,' on March 9 and 10, 2024, under the theme "Pioneering Paths." The festival is designed to offer students a venue to discover innovative career possibilities. Get details here 

The Office of Career Services (OCS) at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi is set to host the international annual career festival, 'Pravritti 2024,' on March 9 and 10 themed "Pioneering Paths." This year's festival will see participation from numerous firms, both international and national. The event is designed to offer students the opportunity to uncover new career possibilities and to receive guidance, perspectives, and valuable insights from industry professionals across various sectors.

Pravritti provides an opportunity to organisations to connect with students from IIT Delhi and identify prospective hires. It is anticipated that approximately 50 national companies and more than 100 Korean companies will participate in the festival, either in person or virtually, to scout for talent among IIT Delhi students.

This initiative aims to facilitate students' engagement with and appreciation of the cultures within national and international organizations. It strives to provide students with the means to assess and contrast recruiters from various sectors, while also supporting them in recognizing and enhancing their skills through competitions and workshops.

“The event not only provides job opportunities for the graduating students and internships to pre-final year students of IIT Delhi, but it also facilitates other students of IIT Delhi and other institutions to gain awareness on career opportunities in various sectors, to mentally prepare them to plan their career paths and to understand the hiring processes. Participation in such an activity is essential for students from their first year to learn, understand the career options and do self-introspection, before preparing themselves for the placement”, said Prof. R. Ayothiraman, Professor In-charge, Office of Career Services, IIT Delhi.
