UGC urges candidates to complete GATE 2024 registration soon

Today is the last date for GATE 2024 registration. Only a few hours left to complete GATE 2024 application without late fee. UGC has urged candidates to complete the application process soon.

Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore will close the GATE 2024 registration window today, September 29, 2023, at the official website - gate2024.iisc.ac.in. 

GATE 2024 registration started on August 30, 2023, and with an extended period, the application process will end on October 13, 2023. GATE 2024 exam will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024.

How to register for GATE 2024

The candidates need to follow these steps to fill GATE 2024 application form:

• Go to the official website - gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
• Register for GATE 
• Fill out the application form
• Upload required documents
• Pay the GATE application fee
• Accept the declaration and submit the application form

This year, GATE 2024 has a new paper on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. The application fees across categories have been increased. Female/SC/ST/PwD candidates need to pay INR 900 while all other category candidates will have to pay INR 1800 as application fees. 

GATE 2024 will be held for admissions to Master of Engineering (ME), Masters in Technology (MTech) and direct PhD programs in all Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other institutes/universities across India.
