It is expected that IIT Madras will conduct JEE Advanced 2024. JEE Advanced 2024 date and complete schedule are yet to be announced. However, IIT aspirants are already prepared to start their battle. Get here important details of the upcoming JEE Advanced exam.
JEE Advanced 2024 date is expected June 2, 2024, as per the previous year’s exam date. Last year JEE Advanced was held on the first Sunday of June, therefore it is expected that this year too JEE Advanced can be held on June 2. But, there are chances that JEE Advanced 2024 can be held in the last week of May. Thus, the candidates are advised to wait for the schedule to be released officially. Once the JEE Advanced 2024 dates are released they will be available on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.
When is JEE Advanced 2024: An Overview of the Past Schedule
It is interesting to note that, JEE Advanced dates got a bit out of the usual schedule during the 3 years of corona pandemic. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, JEE Advanced used to be held in the last week of May. The year after the pandemic was over, that is in 2023, JEE Advanced was held in June. Therefore, it is interesting to note whether JEE Advanced will be held on the first Sunday of June like last year or will be held in the last week of May.

JEE Advanced Paper Pattern
The JEE Advanced paper pattern is known to change. The total marks and the question distribution are dynamic. Therefore to analyse the pattern, below are the JEE Advanced total marks over the past 10 years:

From the above table, it is clear that the total marks in JEE Advanced between 2021 and 2023 were 360. However, before 2021, there were fluctuations in the total marks almost every here.

- Matrix match type
- Question stem (Paragraph type question with answer in numerical form) - new in 2021
The variation in these types of questions is expected each year in JEE Advanced. Therefore candidates must be ready for any type of combination of questions from above in their upcoming JEE Advanced examination.
