During the Central University of Tamil Nadu VIIIth convocation, degrees were conferred upon 854 graduates, representing a diverse group of achievers with 467 females and 387 male candidates.

The Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) conducted its VIIIth Convocation, recognizing the accomplishments of 854 graduates. During the convocation, degrees were honoured to 854 graduates with 467 females and 387 male students. 

The honourable chancellor of Central University of Tamil Nadu graced the event with his inspiring words in the presence of M. Krishnan, Vice Chancellor, Prof. R. Thirumurugan, Registrar and other honourable authorities. 

“I encourage students to pursue vocations that not only fulfil their aspirations but also contribute meaningfully to society. The pursuit of knowledge and innovation should be accompanied by a sense of responsibility towards one's community and nation”. G. Padmanaban, Honourable Chancellor of CUTN said. 

The chancellor further speaks about the new accreditation system of NAAC stating that the new system of accreditation is a significant step in the revolution of higher education in India. It aims to streamline the approval, accreditation, and ranking processes, ensuring simplicity, objectivity, and transparency. 

Furthermore, Prof M Krishnan, Vice Chancellor of the Central University of Tamil Nadu congratulated the title owners for their achievements and also thanked faculty and staff members for their committed service to the good cause. 

Moreover, UGC has approved new departments, the Department of Pharmaceutical Science, Department of Foreign Languages and Department of Food Science which will be started soon at the university.
