DU Admissions 2021: Delhi University receives over 59,000 applications under first cut-off list
The DU Admission Process 2021 under the DU first cut-off list 2021 ended on October 6 and the second cut-off list will be announced on October 9.
DU Admissions 2021: Delhi University has received 59,525 applications for DU UG admissions 2021 against the first cut-off 2021. Delhi University had released the DU first cut-off 2021 on October 1. As per the official data released by the University, 17,913 students have paid the admission fees and 12,774 applications have been approved by the principal. It must be noted that on the very first day of admission, DU had received over 30,000 applications that reached 47,291 on the second day of DU Admissions 2021.
The DU Admission Process 2021 under the DU first cut-off list 2021 ended on October 6 and the second cut-off list will be announced on October 9. DU will be conducting admission for nearly 70,000 seats for the academic year 2021-22. As per the schedule released by DU, the University will be releasing five cut-off lists and three special cut-offs as per the availability of seats.
Owing to COVID-19 restrictions, the DU Admissions 2021 is being conducted in completely online mode. Students will be required to login to their dashboards in order to complete the admission process.
DU Admission 2021: How to apply
Candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for DU Admissions 2021:
- Go to the official website of DU; du.ac.in
- Login and generate DU admission form
- Fill the online admission form
- Upload scanned documents for online verification; Check the list of documents required for DU Admissions 2021 here
- Once the document is verified and admission is confirmed, candidates will have to log in again and pay the admission fee using the link activated under their login
- Once the fee is submitted, the admission will be confirmed
As reported by NDTV, Hindu College has made 70 approved admissions to BA (Hons.) Political Science that has a cutoff of 100 per cent for the unreserved category, including three to four admissions under the EWS category, 11 under the OBC category and six to seven under the SC/ST category. As per the reports, Ramjas College has received a total of 350 applications until now and nearly 200 applications have been approved. As many as 62 students have paid the admission fees.
