Delhi University has formed a seven-member committee to form policy guidelines for the Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) for the 2022-23 academic session. As per the official notification, Professor Alka Nagpal, Dean, Faculty of Music and Fine Arts has been appointed as its chairperson, while Dr Deepti Taneja, Joint Dean, Cultural Council office, has been chosen as its convener and member secretary. Anoop Lather, Advisor, Cultural Council has been appointed as the advisor to the committee.

DU Admissions 2022 will be conducted through the common university entrance test (CUET) for undergraduate courses from this academic year onwards. CUET has been made mandatory for all central universities from this year. It must be noted that for the past two years, ECA trials have not been conducted owing to the outbreak of COVID-19.

This year, Delhi University has decided to replace the old-age practice of the cut-off model which was based on the Class 12th marks. DU executive council had given nod to adopt CUET 2022 entrance test score for admission to Delhi University's UG courses. Candidates must note that they need to pass the Class 12th examination to be eligible for admission to DU UG programmes.

The CUET application form 2022 for UG programmes is all set to be released tomorrow; i.e. April 2. The last date to fill and submit the CUET application form 2022 is on or before April 30. As per the reports, CUET 2022 entrance exam is expected to be conducted in the first week of July. The CUET 2022 exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift consists of one language test, two domain-specific papers and a general test.
