DU Admissions 2022: Deadline to upgrade higher preference for college, programme TODAY
All the candidates who have been assigned the seats against the DU 1st seat allotment 2022 can reorder higher preferences of colleges and programme using their login credentials.
DU Admissions 2022: Delhi University will end the facility to upgrade college and programme preferences for DU admission 2022 today; i.e. October 27 at 4:59 pm. All the candidates who have been assigned the seats against the DU 1st seat allotment 2022 can reorder higher preferences of colleges and programme using their login credentials. However, the upgrade option will not be available for those who have already GOT their first preference of course and college.
In order to change the DU college and course preference, candidates will have to visit the DU CSAS portal. Delhi University on October 26 also released the list of vacant seats after the DU first seat allotment 2022. Candidates who are opting for the upgrade option must note that the program + college combination in which the candidate has already taken an admission earlier will never be offered to them in any further DU seat allocation round.
Also, the college and programme preference that were below in the preference order at which the candidate had taken an admission earlier will never be offered again to the candidate. It must be noted that until October 26, 21,312 students have opted to upgrade their seat at DU UG admission.
Most of the seats for the courses offered in DU's north campus colleges are already filled up. Hindu College, Aryabhatta College, Miranda House, St. Stephan College have either zero or very less seats available.
On the basis of the availability of seats, the DU Second Merit List will be released for DU UG Admission through CUET on October 30. DU is offering admission to 79 UG courses on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in CUET UG.
