IIM Visakhapatnam introduces executive PG certificate programme

a total of Sixty-six working professionals have joined the newly introduced virtual executive postgraduate certificate programme in general management for working professionals by IIM-V.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Visakhapatnam has launched a virtual executive postgraduate certificate programme in general management for working professionals. According to the official notification, a total of Sixty-six working professionals have joined the newly introduced programme by the management institute. Commenting on the newly introduced virtual executive postgraduate certificate programme, IIM Visakhapatnam Director Professor M Chandrasekhar quoted the former US President John F Kennedy and said, leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.

Delivering the opening remarks at the inauguration, Professor Chandrasekhar welcomed the incoming batch. “The learning and takeaways of this one-year programme will enhance the skill sets of professionals working in any domain and enable them to contribute to the triple bottom line of the organisation,” said Professor Chandrasekhar.

IIM-V permanent campus to be operational by June-end

IIM-Visakhapatnam is all set to commence the new academic year in its permanent campus. The institute will commence classes for the senior students of its flagship Post Graduate Program (MBA) on June 6. Meanwhile, the management institute has decided to roll out the academic sessions for the freshers from its permanent campus. The campus is being constructed in Gambheeram in the fourth week of June. The institute is likely to shift second-year PGP students to the permanent campus only about a month after their juniors inhabit the Gambheeram campus.

IIM-V has also decided to increase its PGP intake for the 2022-24 batch past the 300-mark considering the scale of hostels and academic facilities available at the permanent campus.
