DU Postpones LLB Term End Exams Due to Low Attendance; New Dates Soon

DU LLB Exam 2024: The Delhi University’s Faculty of Law has postponed the LLB semester end-term exams that were slated to commence today: July 4. Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh made the decision, citing the detention of several students due to insufficient attendance as the reason for the deferral. The second, fourth, and sixth semesters LLB exams were scheduled to be held from July 4 to 26, 2024.

Reason for Postponement of DU LLB Term End Exams

It has been stated in the official notice that "Due to orders of the Vice Chancellor, the examinations of LLB II/IV/VI term scheduled for July 4 are postponed," the order stated. "Fresh dates would be notified in due course of time."  The Vice-Chancellor mentioned that students have been instructed to attend two weeks of classes to make up for their attendance shortfall.

"After the students will compensate for two weeks for the loss of attendance, fresh dates to hold the end-term examination will be released," he added. The students have been asked to take two weeks of classes to compensate for the loss of attendance.

Revised DU LLB Exam Dates To Release Soon

It is expected that the new dates for DU LLB will be announced soon. The university has decided to reschedule exams to ensure that all students meet attendance requirements before taking their assessments. Revised exam dates will be announced soon, allowing students to fulfill attendance obligations through remedial classes.
