AMU Registrations 2021 for PG programmes begins: Here’s how to apply

AMU Application Forms 2021 for the postgraduate programmes are now available on the official website of the University. Interested candidates can apply online before July 20. Read on to know more about the registrations, important dates, application fee, and more!

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has released the AMU Application Forms 2021 for the postgraduate programmes. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can visit the official website of AMU to apply online for AMU Entrance Exam before July 20 (w/o late fee).

Note: For the undergraduate programmes, the registrations began from June 11 and close on July 8 (w/o late fee) and July 15 (with a late fee of Rs 300).

How to apply for AMU Entrance Exam?

The application forms for AMU entrance exam will be available for filling in online mode only. There are four major steps involved in the registration process viz.:

Step 1: Online registration

Before starting the form filling procedure, candidates are required to register themselves as new user. They are required to enter their Name, Email ID and enter the captcha code. With this, they will then be issued an official User ID and password for future login.

Step 2: Login and Fill the application form

The candidate will now need to log in again using the issued credentials and start filling up the application form. They are required to provide their personal, academic and professional details. Next, they need to scan and upload the required documents as per the given specifications.

Step 3: Payment of application fee

Candidates can pay the application fee in online mode through net banking/ debit card/ credit card. The application fee to be paid as per the candidate’s category is tabulated below:

Step 4: Final application form submission

After filling up the application form, candidates must thoroughly go through the entire form again before submitting it. Candidates are then required to download the form and take a printout of the same for future references.

What next?

Candidates registering themselves successfully will be issued their admit card for the admission procedure a few days before the examination. The document will be sent on the official email ID of the candidate and will also be available for download on the official website of the entrance exam. AMU Admit Card is a mandatory document that a candidate needs to produce at the time of appearing for the exam as well as at the time of admissions. Failing to do so will result in the cancellation of candidature.
