The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Udaipur, marked the commencement of its flagship Two-Year MBA program for the 2024-26 batch, welcoming its largest cohort comprising 384 students. This diverse group includes 32% female and 68% male students, with a notable blend of backgrounds—58% from engineering and 42% from non-engineering disciplines. Additionally, 60% of the students bring prior work experience, enriching the classroom discussions with practical insights.

Eminent Guests and Inspirational Addresses

The inaugural ceremony, presided over by Professor Ashok Banerjee, Director of IIM Udaipur, featured Sonny Iqbal, Partner at Egon Zehnder, as the Chief Guest. Iqbal, renowned for his expertise in family business advisory and governance, shared invaluable insights on strategic growth and relationship management derived from his extensive corporate experience.

Professor Rajesh Nanarpuzha, Dean of Programs at IIM Udaipur, encouraged the incoming students to view their journey at the institute as a pivotal step towards lifelong learning and leadership.
