Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is set to close NMAT exam scheduling window today, October 17. Candidates who registered for NMAT exam on or before October 13 can choose the exam date for their first attempt to the exam. NMAT 2024 is set to be conducted from November 5 to December 20. Candidates can choose any date available to appear for the NMAT exam in their desired test centre. GMAC allows three exam attempts for the NMAT every year.

NMAT 2024 Exam Scheduling Process

Candidates can complete the slot booking process from the NMAT dashboard. All applicants will find a button stating NMAT exam scheduling. Once the candidate clicks the scheduling button, he/she can book slots by choosing the desired NMAT test date and venue.

If a candidate wishes to change the NMAT test date after completing the scheduling process, he/she can access the NMAT rescheduling window by paying INR 1,200 to change the exam date or test venue.

Candidates who complete the NMAT slot booking, also known as NMAT scheduling, are issued the admit card within 24 hours of choosing an exam date.

NMAT Retake Registration

As soon as the candidate appears for his/her first exam attempt, NMAT retake registration will be facilitated inside the NMAT dashboard. Candidates can access the retake registration window to apply for subsequent attempts at NMAT exam.

Graduate Management Admission Council conducts the NMAT exam within a particular exam timeline. Every year, NMAT exam is typically scheduled to be conducted from October 10. Candidates are able to take the exam until December 19. Candidates can appear for the NMAT exam three times during the testing window. Soon after taking the first exam attempt, candidates can fill the retake registration form to apply for the NMAT retake. However, one can schedule a retake of the NMAT exam 15 days after the first take.

The meaning of retake of the NMAT exam implies that any applicant can attempt the test thrice, including the first attempt. In other words, the process of reappearing for the exam is known as exam retake. Candidates aspiring for a retake attempt have to apply using the NMAT retake window. However, candidates can reappear for the exam, not before 15 days after the first attempt. Similarly, third exam attempt can only be scheduled on a date 15 days after the second attempt for NMAT exam.
