To mark the Doctor’s Day celebration, a function was organized at JNMC, AMU. Addressing the event, Prof Asif Hasan, Chairman, Department of Cardiology, emphasized the importance of addressing the challenges posed by young coronary artery disease (CAD), which affects approximately 15 to 20 percent of patients under the age of 45. This particular group of patients often lacks traditional risk factors but presents with severe heart attacks and even sudden death.
