Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 3 have to pay the fee in online mode. Seat allotment for Round 4 is scheduled for July 5
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will close the window for paying the seat-acceptance fee for Round at 10 pm today (July 4). The institute had declared seat allotment results for Round 3 on July 1. The NIFT 2022 seat acceptance fee has to be paid online by logging in to the counseling portal.
The counseling process for NIFT 2022 is being conducted in online mode as a joint seat allocation process for admission to the participating institutes.
There are currently 17 NIFTs that will offer admission to their UG and PG design courses based on NIFT 2022 scores.

There are two more rounds of seat allotment left in NIFT 2022 counseling. The upcoming schedule is given below.

NIFT 2022 Registration and Seat Allotment
The registration for NIFT 2022 counseling was conducted from May 25-June 4. There is no need for candidates to register afresh for Round 4. Registered candidates who have not been allotted seats will be automatically considered for seat allotment in the remaining rounds.
The seat allotment of seats was made considering:
- The NIFT 2022 merit rank of the candidate
- The ability of seats in the college applied for admission
- The participating institutes and academic programs picked at the time of counseling registration and their order of preference.
