As per a revised schedule, the allotment was slated to be announced on June 31. Candidates who have been allotted seats need to pay the seat acceptance fee and confirm their seats.
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has declared NIFT 2022 seat allotment results for Round 3. Candidates who have registered for counseling can check the allotment status by entering their email id and password. Freshly allotted candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee to confirm their seats between July 1-3.

How to check NIFT 2022 seat allotment
To check seat allotment status and download the provisional allotment letter, follow the steps mentioned below:
- Click on the allotment link given above
- On the admission homepage, click on the allotment link given at the top
- You will be redirected to a login page
- Enter your email id and password
- On successful login, the seat allotment status can be checked and the letter can be downloaded.
NIFT 2022 seat allotment process
The allotment of seats is conducted based on the following factors:
- The academic preferences and participating institutes selected by the candidate and their order of priority.
- The NIFT 2022 merit rank of the candidate.
NIFT 2022 Counseling Rounds and Registration
The counseling process for NIFT 2022 is being conducted in online mode as a joint seat allocation process for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate design courses offered by the 17 participating institutes.
The counseling process has five seat allotment rounds. The fourth round of seat allotment will be announced on July 5, followed by seat allotment for the 5th and final round on July 11.
