NTA Will Conduct UGC NET June Exam 2024 in OMR (Pen Paper Mode); Check Details Here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET 2024 exam in pen-and-paper mode. Earlier, the UGC NET OMR exam was discontinued in 2019. Check the complete details about the UGC NET June 2024 exam.

UGC NET 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET June exam 2024 in pen and paper mode (OMR). All the UGC NET 83 subjects will be conducted in an OMR sheet. Earlier, the UGC NET pen-paper mode exam was discontinued in 2019, when the exam conducting authority was changed from CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) to NTA (National Testing Agency). The UGC NET paper 1 and paper 2 will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours and no breaks will be provided between two the two papers. 

UGC NET Online Application Form 2024

The NTA released the NTA NET online form on April 20, 2024, and will continue till May 10, 2024. The candidates can apply online for the UGC NET June exam by following the steps below:

• Visit the website- ugcnet.nta.ac.in
• Click on the ‘UGC NET Application form’ link mentioned at the bottom of the home page
• Click on the ‘New Registration’
• Enter the required details and complete the registration
• Fill out the complete application form
• Upload scanned pictures of passport size photo (10-200 kb) and signature (4-30 kb). Both images should be in JPEG format
• Pay the UGC NET application fee (Gen - INR 1,100; OBC/EWS - INR 550; SC/ST/PwD/ Transgender - INR 275)
• Save and submit the form
• Download the confirmation page
