What After UPSC Main Result 2022?
UPSC IAS main result 2022 released. The Commission released the roll number of the selected candidates. Commission released the DAF-2 Dates also.
Eligible candidates will be required to fill out the DAF online during the stipulated dates. The DAF will be the snippets of the candidates' whole life and it will be presented to the UPSC interview board on the day of the Personality Test. UPSC released the DAF notice on November 24.

UPSC IAS 2022 : Candidates Should be Ready for the DAF-2
The candidates who cleared the UPSC mains result 2022 should fill out the DAF-II carefully because the details mentioned in the DAF-II should match the details mentioned in the DAF-I filled with the prelims application. The candidates should note that no changes will be allowed in DAF-II after submission.

UPSC IAS Personality Test Syllabus
The official notification does not mention the syllabus for the UPSC personality test. The commission will be interviewed by a Board that will have before them a record of the candidate’s career. The candidate will be asked questions on matters of general interest. The object of the Interview/Personality Test is to assess the personal suitability of the candidate for a career in public service by a Board of competent and unbiased observers. The Interview/Personality Test is intended to judge the mental calibre of a candidate. In broad terms, this is really an assessment of not only intellectual qualities but also social traits and interest in current affairs.
The candidates should prepare for current affairs and the issues behind the issue. The candidates should study the inter-linkage between the fundamental issue behind basic general studies topic and the current event. The newspaper is a very important component in the interview preparation.

UPSC Releases the Marks of Non-Recommended Candidates
UPSC released the IAS mains result 2022 on December 6. The number of candidates who appeared in the Civil Service Mains Exam was around thirteen thousand. The number of selected candidates is 2,485 only. Over 11,000 candidates did not make it to the list. The UPSC will release the marks of non-recommended candidates after the result.

UPSC IAS 2022 Result: Documents Required for Interview
The candidates should note that all the certificates( required on the date of the Interview) must be obtained before the last date of UPSC IAS application 2022 that is February 22, 2022. The certificate acquired after the said date will not be accepted on the day of interview. The list of documents required for the UPSC IAS interview is as follow:
- Degree of Graduation or equivalent examination with mark sheets issued by the University.
- Matriculation Certificate for the date of birth confirmation purpose
- An internship Completion Certificate for MBBS Degree or any other Medical Degree will be required for the doctors.
- The doctors having a degree from a foreign university, the equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities/ National Board of Examination (for MBBS or any other Medical Examination) will be required.
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Classes Certificate/Income & Asset Certificate for Economically Weaker Section in the prescribed format issued on or before 22.02.2022.
- The candidates belonging to the PwD category will have to show a certificate in support of their claim issued before February 22, 2022.
- Hailing from a Certificate issued by the Competent Authority issued before February 22, 2022.

UPSC IAS Exam 2022: Ethics Syllabus
Ethics paper is the youngest entry to UPSC main exam. The Commission asks the case studies in the paper and the candidates find it difficult to answer these case studies because they are based on the real-life scenarios.
Ethics, Integrity and Aptitude
This paper will include questions to test the candidates’ attitude and approach to issues relating to integrity, probity in public life and problem-solving approach to various issues and conflicts faced in dealing with society. Questions may utilise the case study approach to determine these aspects. The following broad areas will be covered:

UPSC IAS 2022: What will be tested in Personality Test?
UPSC personality test is not a rigorous interview. It is a constructive discussion only where the Interview board members will peek into the personality of the candidate and hence the name is personality test. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) mentions that the interview board will test the candidate on matters of general interest. The object of the Interview/Personality Test is to assess the personal suitability of the candidate for a career in public service by a Board of competent and unbiased observers. The Interview/Personality Test is intended to judge the mental calibre of a candidate. In broad terms, this is really an assessment of not only intellectual qualities but also social traits and interest in current affairs.
The candidates should prepare for current affairs and the issues behind the issue. The candidates should study the inter-linkage between the fundamental issue behind basic general studies topic and the current event. The newspaper is a very important component in the interview preparation.

UPSC IAS Result (Main) - Tie Resolution Principle
There are instances where two or more candidates secure equal marks in the UPSC result (final). In those cases, UPSC resolve the tie between two or more candidates in the manner given below:
1. If the marks secured by two or more candidates are the same in the aggregate total (out of 2025), the candidate who had secured more marks in the compulsory papers (Essay, GS I, GSII, GS III, GSIV) and the personality test (IAS interview) combined will be given preference over the others.
2. In case, the candidates are tied in the above situation also, the candidate who is older will be given preference over the younger one.

UPSC IAS 2022: List of Documents Required on the day of UPSC Personality Test
The Union Public Service Commission released a notice mentioning the documents required for the UPSC personality test. The list of documents required on the day of interview is given below:
- Degree of Graduation or equivalent examination with mark sheets issued by the University.
- Matriculation Certificate for the date of birth confirmation purpose
- An internship Completion Certificate for MBBS Degree or any other Medical Degree will be required for the doctors.
- The doctors having a degree from a foreign university, the equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities/ National Board of Examination (for MBBS or any other Medical Examination) will be required.
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Classes Certificate/Income & Asset Certificate for Economically Weaker Section in the prescribed format issued on or before 22.02.2022.
- The candidates belonging to the PwD category will have to show a certificate in support of their claim issued before February 22, 2022.
- Hailing from a Certificate issued by the Competent Authority issued before February 22, 2022.
- Ex-servicemen Certificate.
