Aryan Pathi, a student of Mahindra University won double Bronze medal at 10th World Crossbow Shooting Championship. He represented India at the Championship.

10th World Crossbow Shooting Championship: Mahindra University’s Student Receives Double Bronze 

Mahindra University's student Aryan Pathi represented India in the 10th World Crossbow Shooting Championship held in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, from October 26th to November 1st, 2023. During this significant international competition, Aryan Pathi participated in the Standard Open Category and showcased remarkable skills, dedication, and sportsmanship.

During the ranking round, Aryan Pathi achieved an impressive score of 1002/1200 and earned a well-deserved Bronze medal in the Ranking Round, a testament to his exceptional shooting skills. He also secured another Bronze medal in the Match Plays, demonstrating his consistency and competitive spirit throughout the three-day event. 

"Congratulations to Aryan Pathi for winning 2 #BronzeMedals at the 10th World Crossbow Shooting Championship. Aryan represented #India in the Standard Open Category and achieved a score of 1002/1200. We are proud of Aryan and also excited to see what he accomplishes in the future," reads a tweet by Mahindra University. 

His dedication and hard work serve as an inspiration to the entire university community and reflect the values of excellence that the university upholds, stated official statement of Mahindra University.

10th World Crossbow Shooting Championship Details

There wer two TC600/18/40 indoor rounds, each comprising 60 competition bolts at 18m on a World Archery/FITA licenced 40cm three spot vertical strip multi coloured 5 zone face. Entry was open to all WCSA affiliated Individuals, Clubs and Federations covering the Target, Standard, Freestyle and Medieval crossbow divisions for Men, Women, Senior 55+, Senior 70+, Juniors (under18 years) and Assisted categories.
