CUET UG 2024 Marking Scheme
The CUET follows a detailed marking scheme to ensure fairness and accuracy in assessing candidates’ responses. Here’s how the marking is structured:

Correct Answer or Most Appropriate Answer: +5 marks

Questions with Multiple Correct Answers:
- If a question has more than one correct option, candidates will receive +5 marks if they have marked any of the correct options.
- If all options are correct, all candidates who have attempted the question will be awarded +5 marks.
- In cases of question is found to be incorrect or is dropped, all candidates who attempted that question will be awarded +5 marks.
Q: When will the CUET final answer key be released?
National testing Agency will release the CUET 2025 final answer key before the announcement of results. NTA releases the revised CUET answer key based on the objections received at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. Candidates will be given oppotunity to challenge the CUET UG answer key 2025 within three days window. The date to challenge the answer key will be announced after the release of CUET answer key 2025. Only paid challenges made during the stipulated period will be considered. CUET answer key challenges without justification/evidence and those filed on any other medium other than the prescribed link for CUET UG will not be considered. CUET UG 2025 results will be compiled based on the final answer key. Candidates will not get the outcome of the challenges received.
Q: When can I challenge the CUET answer key?
CUET UG answer key challenge window will open tentatively in first week of July 2025. Candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to raise objections against the CUET UG answer key within the stipulated period of time. Candidates will have to pay the non-refundable fee of INR 200 for each question challenged. The CUET UG provisional answer key is displayed for two to three days. Only paid challenges made during the given period will be considered for revision. On the basis of the objections received, CUET UG 2025 final answer key will be released tentatively in last week of July 2025 at cuet.samarth.ac.in. NTA will not confirm the outcome of the CUET answer key challenges made. CUET UG 2025 result will be computed on the basis of the CUET final answer key 2025.
Q: How to challenge CUET answer key?
To challenge the CUET UG 2025 provisional answer key, candidates must follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1- Login on the official website of NTA CUET UG 2025
Step 2- After logging in, click on 'View/Challenge Answer Keys'
Step 3- Questions can be viewed in sequential order
Step 4- The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the correct Answer Key to be used by NTA
Step 5- To challenge one or more answer keys, candidates have to use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box
Step 6- Candidates can upload supporting documents in which you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents to be put in a single pdf file)
Step 7- Next, they have to scroll down and click on the 'Save Your Claim' tab and move to the next screen where all the challenged questions' Option IDs will be visible
Step 8- Click on ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’
Step 9- Select Mode of Payment and Pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 200 for each question challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm.

Candidates meeting the cut off criteria will be offered admission to desored UG course.
