Q: How do I select the domain subjects for CUET UG?
Before selecting the test or domain subjects, candidates are advised to visit the official website of university/organaisation they wish to apply for. Candidates must check the courses offered and eligibility test that they should appear in for admission to desired course. The choice of language/domain subject and General test will depend upon the course and university. Candidates will be able to opt for one or more tests as per the requirement of the course and university fro the following sections:
- Section IA - 13 Languages
- Section IB - 20 Languages
- Section II - 27 Domain Specific Subjects
- Section III - General Test
It is not mandatory to choose any one or more of the tests stated above. The choice of tests would depend on the course/s opted by the candidate and the University / Organization / Institution where admission is sought.
Q: Can I opt for several subjects in section II of CUET to apply for various courses?
Yes, an CUET applicant can opt for one or more combinations of the following:
- Section I: Language Test
- Section II: Domain subject test
- Section III: General Aptitude Test
Candidates will be able to opt up to a maximum of five subjects in order to apply to different applicable courses that require these subjects for being eligible for admissions. Candidates can choose subjects irrresptive of subjects studied in 12th grade under their eligibility conditions for a particular programme.
Q: Does CUET require OBC certificate?
Yes, OBC candidates applying for CUET must upload the OBC-NCL certificate in online CUET application form. The OBC-NCL certificate must be issued in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India. If candidate fail to upload the OBC-NCL certificate (issued on or after 01 April, 2024) at the time of CUET 2025 registration, then in such case they will have to upload a declaration in lieu of OBC-NCl certificate to that effect.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories are admitted under the seats reserved for them in accordance with the rules prescribed by Government of India. However, in the case of central universities admission, the reservation criteria of the respective university shall be applicable.

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) CUET UG Admission Process 2025
Candidates who will select BBAU while filling out the CUET UG Application Form and qualify the CUET exam will be considered eligible to take admission to UG courses. After the announcement of CUET UG results, BBAU will release a course-wise merit list for the UG courses on the official website. Selected candidates with their names on the merit list will be eligible for the admission process. Candidates can check the detailed BBAU UG Admission Process below:
Step 1: Register on the BBAU Lucknow Admission Portal
Aspirants are required to visit the official website of the university - bbaucuet.samarth.edu.in and click on "New Registration" to participate in the online counselling process. Now, aspirants are required to fill in the below-mentioned details to register for CUET UG Counselling:
- Candidate’s CUET application number
- Candidate’s date of birth as per CUET application form
Step 2: Re-login on Admission Portal
After registering themselves on the BBAU admission portal, candidates are required to re-login with the CUET application number and password.
Step 3: Fill the Application Form and Upload Documents
Candidates are now required to fill out the application form and upload documents. The forms will ask for Personal Details and Educational Details.
Step 4: Pay the Counselling Registration Fee
Candidates are now required to pay the registration fee.
Step 5: Check the Merit List
Candidates have to check for their names in the BBAU CUET Merit List on the official website - bbau.ac.in.
Step 6: Verify Documents
Candidates with their names on the Merit List will have to verify their documents by DAC on the Samarth Portal.
Step 7: Challan Generation
Once the documents have been verified, the DAC will generate a challan for fee submission.
Step 8: Submission of Fee
DAC will declare a list of candidates against whom challan has been generated. These candidates will have to pay the admission fee by the given last date to secure their seats at BBAU.

Candidates can apply for CUET score accepting colleges through CUET UG 2025 application form. While filling the application form, candidates will be required to enter the name of the preffered universities and courses in order of preference. On declaration of the CUET results, the scores will be shared with the unoversities for which candidate has applied. Basis on the score obtained candidate will be shortlisted for the applied course.
Q: What is the criteria for admission via CUET exam?
For admission in Universities through CUET (UG) - 2025, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc.. of the respective University / Institution shall be applicable. For appearing in CUET exam there is no age limit, however, candidates will be required to follow the age criteria (if any) prescribed the university in which candidate is desirous of taking admission. Mere appearance in the CUET exam will not guarantee admission to the programme untill the candidates has:

Q: When can I apply for the CUET exam?
National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the CUET UG 2025 registrations at cuetug.ntaonline.in. Candidates desirous of taking admission to University/college through CUET must fill the application form before the deadline. On the release of the CUET notification important dates for CUET 2025 will be announced. CUET 2025 application process will be in online mode. Candidates will be required to fill the application form, upload documents and pay the application fee in online mode only. CUET is a gateway to more tahn 250 universities across India for its UG courses.
Q: How many subjects can I choose for the CUET exam?
From CUET UG 2025 onwards, candidates can now choose for five CUET subjects. Earlier, the subject choices were six. With the rediuction in number of CUET subjects, the choices have been reduced. Candidates can opt for five subjects from 23 domain subjects of any stream irrespective of subjects studied in class 12th.
Q: What is programme specific eligibility criteria in CUET?
For admission to the desirous University/Institution, the candidates must appear in CUET 2025 in the Languages and Domain Specific subjects as per the Program-Specific Eligibility for which s (he) is desirous to take admission. For instance if candidate wishes to apply for B.Com (Hons.) programe in Delhi University he/she will be required to make the subject combination as :
Combination I: Any one Language from List A + Mathematics/Applied Mathematics + Any two subjects out of which at least one should be from List B1
OR
Combination II: Any one Language from List A + Accountancy/Book Keeping + Any two subjects out of which at least one should be from List B1
Candidates are advised to check CUET programme specific eligibility criteria before filling the application form, failing which they will not qualify for further admission process.
BBAU CUET UG Admissions 2025: Documents Required for Counselling
Candidates eligible for admission at BBAU with their names on the merit list will have to bring in the following documents at the time of counselling:
- Marksheet/ gradesheet of the qualifying degree course (self-attested)
- Character Certificate from the dean/ head/ principal of the university/ institution last attended (in original)
- Migration Certificate from competent authority of the university/ institution last attended, to be notified later
- SC/ ST/ PwD/ Kashmiri Migrant/ NRI Certificate issued by the Competent Authority (self-attested). Candidates shall bring all the original certificates/ documents for verification.
