The open round counselling process of AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 is ongoing. Applicants who want to appear in the counselling are advised to register between September 10 and September 14, 2024, by visiting the official website at www.aiimsexams.ac.in. After registration, authorities issued AIIMS BSc Nursing open round counselling seat allotment results on September 19, 2024. 

Before this, AIIMS Delhi revised the counselling schedule of AIIMS BSc Nursing (H) 2024. The round 2 seat allotment was released on July 23, 2024. The AIIMS BSc Nursing seat allotment PDF is mentioned on the page given below. Applicants can check and participate in the AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 admission process.

2nd Round of Seat Allocation of AIIMS BSc Nursing  

After the selected candidates accept the online allocated seat, documents/DD need to be submitted to AIIMS New Delhi to confirm the allotted seat. The candidates whose names appeared on the list, their Medical examinations & other admission formalities will be conducted at a physical location designated by AIIMS Delhi. There is no additional charge for the online seat assignment procedure.

Q:   When will AIIMS BSc Nursing counselling start?

A:

The first round of AIIMS BSc Nursing (H) counselling is expected to begin from the first week of July 2025. Applicants can register till July 2025. The seat allocation result for AIIMS BSc Nursing will be released in July 2025. Applicants whose name will be included in the seat allocation list, will have to further appear for the counselling process by submitting the necessary documents.

Q:   When will open round counselling of B.Sc Nursing will start at AIIMS?

A:

The AIIMS Delhi will start the open round counselling registration in the second week of September 2025. After the registeration concludes, authorities will release the seat allotment result of AIIMS BSc Nursing open round counselling in online mode on the official website.

Q:   How will applicants register and set a new password for AIIMS BSc Nursing seat allocation?

A:

Firstly applicants will have to click on the link ‘Register and Set a new password’ on the AIIMS B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Online Seat Allocation portal. Follow the instructions to set new password. Note that this password is separate from the password required to access MyPage. Students must maintain both the passwords.

AIIMS Nursing Counselling Process 2024

When AIIMS Delhi releases the Seat Allocation result, candidates are required to exercise either of the two options:

Option 1. ACCEPT allotted Seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Seat Allocation

In this case, the candidate will have to report at the respective AIIMS on the stipulated date with the Offer Letter (downloaded from the online seat allocation portal), Seat Allocation Letter/Slip from the online Portal and deposit original certificates OR a Demand Draft (DD) of INR 1 Lakh only (One Lakh only) in the name of AIIMS MAIN GRANT along with photocopies of certificates. The DD 
will be refunded only when the original certificates are deposited. If original certificates are not deposited at the time of joining,  admission will be cancelled. 

The candidate will not be able to participate in further rounds of counselling. In case the candidates fail to report within the stipulated time frame mentioned by the counselling conducting body, their admission will stand cancelled and he/she shall become ineligible for participating in all further rounds of Seat Allocation. However, such candidates will be eligible to participate in the Open Round of Seat Allocation.

Option 2. ACCEPT allotted Seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation

Reporting to the respective AIIMS campus on the stipulated date with the Offer Letter and deposit original certificates OR a Demand Draft (DD) of INR 1 Lakh only (One Lakh only) in the name of AIIMS MAIN GRANT along with photocopies of certificates. The DD will be refunded only when original certificates are deposited for joining a seat in any round of seat allocation.

In the event of a candidate who has exercised this option but does not report in person on or before the stipulated date, the admission will stand cancelled and he/she shall become ineligible for participating in all further rounds of Seat Allocation. If in the 2nd Round of seat allocation, a candidate who has chosen option 2 is allocated another seat as per the choice made, then the candidate will have to accept the seat allocated in 2nd Round and the seat allocated in the 1st will be released automatically. Such candidates cannot retain seat allotted in 1st Round and failure to join the seat allocated in 2nd Round shall lead to imposition of penalty of INR 1 lakh. 

The AIIMS nursing 2024 counselling process will be held online at the official website dedicated to admission to UG courses. The candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the entrance exam. A merit list will be released stating the highest percentile on the official website of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Selected candidates would be required to report online on the day of counselling.

The shortlisted candidates will be informed on their registered email or on the mobile number via SMS mentioning all the details of the counselling. AIIMS will not send any call letter to the shortlisted candidates through post or by any other means.

AIIMS Nursing Counselling Process 2024 - Documents Required

The list of Documents/Certificates required at the time of AIIMS Nursing counselling 2024 are mentioned as under:

  1. Offer Letter
  2. Seat allocation letter
  3. Final Registration Slip
  4. Admit Card issued by AIIMS
  5. 10th passing/ Birth Certificate showing his/her date of birth
  6. Self-attested copy of the certificate in proof of passing the 12th class 
  7. Self-attested copy of a certificate from the Board showing his/her date of birth
  8. SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate (if applicable)
  9. Certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disability (if applicable)

AIIMS Nursing 2024 - Reservation of Seats

AIIMS is an autonomous body of the Government of India and hence abides by the policy of reservation of seats as per the government order. The seat reservation matrix is listed below in the table:

After the AIIMS nursing counselling, the candidates qualifying for admission were required to pay a fee of INR 5,000 as a token for admission to reserve the seat. The credentials of the candidates will be re-verified by a selection committee/board depending upon their rank on the merit list. The verification process will be conducted via the online process.
